Corrective Exercise Specialization

Laura is an experienced aerialist, certified personal trainer, and corrective exercise specialist with over a decade of expertise in aerial arts instruction and functional fitness. As one of the original founders of Aerialogy, she brings a unique blend of fitness knowledge, playfulness, and nerd power to her teaching practice.

Known for her progressive training methods and ability to create a fun and empowering environment for students of all levels, Laura uses a variety of teaching styles, fitness assessments, and gamification techniques to keep clients engaged and progressing, whether they are training for aerial feats or everyday movement.

Outside of the studio, you might find her in performance mode at an university alumni event, pouring champagne from the sky at an art show, or doing partner aerial acrobatics at an Indianapolis 500 party. When she’s not teaching or performing, she’s designing unique learning tools for Aerialogy, including her latest project: an interactive, taxonomy-based library of aerial skills aimed at further advancing aerial education in a unique way.

Whether in the air or on the ground, Laura’s commitment to helping others discover the joy of movement and build confidence remains the heart of her practice.

Andi Strackeljahn

Director of Instruction, Aerial Silks and Aerial Hoop Instructor

Trained in French ballet as a child, dance was Andi’s first love but after an introduction to aerial silks during graduate school, silks quickly become her passion. The thrill of defying gravity and pushing the limits of what the body is capable of fuel her never-ending curiosity and adoration of circus arts. Andi has been performing on aerial silks and hammock since 2016. Most recently, she performed ambient aerials at Indy 500 events in 2023 and 2024 and theatrical pieces for Arthur Murray Bloomington in 2024 and 2025.

In 2024, Andi completed Paper Doll Militia’s Level 1 Silks Instructor training. Andi infuses artistic expression and play into her teaching. She finds great joy in guiding new aerialists into an aerial practice that honors their body and life experiences.
