NOTES

  • Private & semi-private lessons, workshops, and open gym are available now.
  • No aerial parties or girl scout workshops are offered at this time.
  • Each participant is given there own silk. Silks are then "quarantined" for 24 hours before reuse. Lyras and mats are cleaned between uses.
  • Bring your own yoga mat to warm up and sit on during breaks.
  • We use shared safety mats that are cleaned between practices.
  • If you are fully vaccinated for covid-19, no mask is required.
  • As always, if anyone isn’t feeling well, the responsible thing to do is to stay home. We are waiving our 24 hour cancellation policy to discourage students who may be feeling ill from practicing. Please email, text, or call if you need to reschedule a lesson.

Be Prepared!

Complete a waiver in advance. Students under 18 must be waived by a parent or legal guardian before participating.

Bring a water bottle and yoga mat.

Wear proper attire for a comfortable, abrasion-free flight.

  • We suggest long, cotton leggings that are tight around the ankles. Shiny lycra/spandex material is slippery and should be avoided.
  • A workout shirt that is long enough to stay tucked in will prevent fabric burns on your sides. The shirt should have sleeves long enough to cover the underarms. Leotards are best of all.
  • Metal jewelry of any kind is not permitted, including wedding rings, earrings, and necklaces.
  • Deodorant is a requirement as a courtesy to other participants, and antiperspirant is encouraged as it protects the silk from dampness.
  • Long hair must be pulled back.
  • If you wear glasses, use a sports strap to keep them secure.
  • Aerials are practiced with bare feet, but you may wear socks during the warm up if desired.
